The financial statement for the half-year shows that there is a bankbalance of £121 14s lid. WAIHI: HORA HORA SCHEME. The Waihi Gold Mining Company's hydro-electric power scheme is rapidly nearing completion (says the New Zealand Herald.) It is expected that the erection of the mechanical plant at Hora Hora will be finished by the end of this month, as well as th« transmission line and the plant at Waikino. In all probability a start will be made to run a portion of the plant at New Year, after which the whole of it will gradually be brought into full running.
