(Received October 29, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 28th October. Larkin, the strike leader, sentenced at Dublin to seven months' imprisonment ior making seditious speeches, did not call evidence for the defence. Two -witnesses for the Crown testified to hearing a speech by Larkin in which he said : — "I never said 'God Save the King 1 except in derision." James Connolly, of ' Belfast, succeeds LaTkin in control of the Transport Workers' Union.
