"Digger" Stanley beat Beynon at the National Sporting Club, in a twenty Tpunds contest. He won on points. Stanley takes the Lonsdale Belt, which ho has won outright. Ho was always cleverer than Beynon, who is a stolid, dogged boxer. The "Dixie Kid" beat Albert Scanlon (Australia) at the Ring in a twenty rounds go. H« also won on points. Scanlon was tho heavier.
