Miss Sylvia Pankhurst hunger-struck, and has been released from prison. MRS., PANKHURST IN AMERICA. CROWDED DEMONSTRATION. MR. HERBERT SAMUEL IS GLAD. NEW YORK, 22nd October. Addressing a crowded demonstration in Madison-square, Mrs. Pankhurst/ declared that nothing was to be got from the British Parliament except through violence. If the women were given an opportunity of framing laws there would be no white slavery. Mr. Herbert Samuel, British Post-master-General, addressing the Pilgrims' Society, said that he was glad Mrs. Pankhurst had been admitted. The Liberal Government had not the slightest objection.
