At Caulfield to-day, the second day's racing in connection with the Victoria Amateur Turf Club's meeting was marred by boisterous, cold weather. There was a good attendance. A fierce storm, during which the velocity of the wind was fifty miles an hour, delayed the start of the Eclipse Stakes. Twelve points of rain fell in ten minutes. Details of the racing are as follow: — Emo Hurdle Kace; two miles and sixty-four yards — Reiglo, 11.7, 1 ; Paymaster, 9.11, 2 ; Wisconsin, 10.5, o. Three others started. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 3min 58sec. Mona Nursery, for two-year-olds ; four furlongs and a half — Traquette, 8.3, 1 ; Maharajah, 7.10, 2 ; Andesin, 7.8, 3. Five others started. Eubulus, Anna Carlovna, and Sea Prince, with Willow Green last. Sea Prince and Eubulus then took charge from Golden Goblet, Anna Carlovna, and Willow Green, with Broadsword at the rear. Sea Prince deposed Eubulus entering the straight. Anna Carlovna challenged at the distance, and romped home five lengths ahead of her stable companion, who was a length in front of Eubulus.
