[Dr. Anderson was born in 1846. Ho had a distinguished student's career at University College, London (Exhibition and several medals) and at the University of London (Exhibition and University scholarship). He was interested in the housing problem and the preservation of open spaces, and was consulting Opthalrnic Surgeon to the York County Hospital, and a Fellow of the University College, London.]
