CENTRAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
At a meeting of the council of the newly-formed Wellington, Central Chamber of Commerce, business was transacted in connection with the appointment of a permanent secretary and "the securing of suitable promises. The question of articles of association and registration was discussed, and a sub-com-mittee was appointed to go further into the matter. Five ,new members were elected. Tho acting-secretary reported that applications for 'membership are being received 1 daily. The council will meet again in a few days..
