ROSENEATH SALE §F WORK
A successful gift evening was held in the public school on Friday evening last in connection with the sale of work organised by the Ladies' Sewing Guild of the Roseneath Presbyterian Church. The congregation and friends turned out in large numbers and enjoyed the excellent programme provided. The gifts were both numerous and varied, and the guild are now assured of having wellfilled stalls. The sale will be in the public school, and will be opened on Wednesday .afternoon, '3rd inst., at 3 o'clock, by the Mayoress, Mrß. J. P. Luke. The stalls are as follow:-— Fancy, Mesdarues Low and Bird ; plain, Mesdames Smith 1 , Nagle, and Miss Low ; flower, Mesdames Lourie and Nash j tea room, Mrs. Thirkell ; provision and side shows, the Roseneath Scouts and the Misses W. and F. Low.
