MATTERS QUIET. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received August 30, 9.55 a.m.) ■ SYDNEY, This Day. Matters in connection with the Broken Hill shop assistants' strike are quiet. The employees of the Co-operative Society's stores are still out. The bakers at the society's bakery resumed work, but members of the Barrier Labour Federation visited the bakery and operations then ceased.
