LEVIN, 27th August. The Hprowhenua Rugby Union's re* presentatives defeated the Wellington Wednesday representatives after an open contest by 13 points to 11. The first spell ended Hotowhenua 10 to 3, and the score was made up to 13 to 3 a quarter of an hour after the second spell began, but Wellington finished gamely and ecotcd twica mova, the Jftst score being gained on the call of time. Horowhenua were obtained by Jacob, T. Wiaiata, and R-awiri, two of which Rawifi converted. For Wellington Bate. Anderson, and Barber scored tries, one of which was converted.
