Mulr, late chief officer of the Ngahere. Mr. H. P. Olseto, mate of the Noatoro. has been appointed chief officer on the ftgnhere. • Mr. C. Mctcod has Joined the Walpori as second officer, relieving Mr C. HatDeld, who went ashore on holiday leave. Having gone ashore on holiday leave Captain A. V. Watchlln, of the Terawhltl, is belhg relieved by Cftptaln Bilton, !»te of the Hauplrl. Captain Watehlin was a passenger for Sydney by the Manttka, which left last evening. CORINTmC AT PLYMOUTH. The local ngency of the Shaw, Savill, end Albion Company have been advised that the R.M.S. Corlnthlc. which sailed from Wellington on the loth July for liOndoh, via Monte Video, Tenerlffe, ahd Plymouth, arrived nt the latter port on Thursday morning lnst— time-table date. The vessel Is to sail again from London on the llth September for Wellington, via Tenerifte, Capetown, and Hobart. CARGO FOR MELBOURNE. The Mnunganul, which is to sail from Weilington on Friday next for Sydney direct, will take Melbourne cargo, as the Moerakl, dlie here on Wednesday from Sydney, Is only proceeding fm far as Dunedin, where she lays up. The Maunganui Is to take up the Moeraki's running, v being timed to sail from Melbourne on the , 10th September. The 'TJnion Company's cargo<c*rrler Wai' port, which is running Ih place of the WtUochra, l» not leaving Lyttelton until this afternoon. She is therefore not expected here until tomorrow, ,and discharging operations will commence first thing on Monday morning. In the evening she Is to sad for Westport. Instead of proceeding to Qreymouth for coat the Blackball Coal Company's colliers Ngatoro aad Ngabere left last evenine for Westport on account of the trouble in the mines at the other West Coast port. On completion of discharge of her New York cargo at Wellington, Lyttetton, and Dunedin, the Stnr of Scotland, \dtie here on Monday evening or Tuesday morning, will proceed to Australia for Homeward loading BY TELEGRAPH.
