PUBLIC SCHOOLS MATCH. The Rugby match played at the Athletic Park this afternoon between teams representing the Wellington and Manawatu public schools ended in a draw, neither side scoring.
Some settlers in the Nelson district are suffering loss through the worrying of their sheep. , Mr. P. B. Adams has this week lost 64 sheep, valued at £100, on his Maori Pa Station The dogs which did the^amage were ehof.. Most of' the sheep killed were Romney ewes (in lamb) from Mr. Short's flock, Feild* ing.
