Meehan, member for Darling, who recently was the cause of a, scene in the Legislative Assembly, and was ordered to be removed from the Chamber, was again removed for constantly interrupting during a debate. [A few days ago, during a discussion on the Local Option Bill, Mr. Meehan entered the Assembly carrying a pot of beer, which he presented to Mr. E. Lonsdale, member for Armidale, and an ardent temperance advocate. Mr. Lansdale, upper-cutting severely, sent the liquor flying in all directions. The Chairman of Committees ordered Mr. Meehan a removal, and Mr. Meehan, anticipating the arrival of the Sergeant-at-Arm. fled the Chamber.]
