Evidence at the inquest on Eric Walker, aged 2£ years, who died at St. Kflda on Sunday, showed that the larynx was practically blocked by swelling, in which haemorrhage nad taken place. A verdict was returned that death was due to suffocation caused by a growth in the larynx. AUCKLAND, Ist July. Word has been received by the Superintendent of Police that this morning a farmer named Albert Frost had been found dead at Pukekawa in the Mercer district, under circumstances that suggested that he had been accidentally shot. Frost was 33 years of age and married. CHEISTCHURCH, Ist July. D. A. Inkson, who accompanied the New Zealand League football team to Australia, making the tour really for health purposes, died at Toowoomba on 20th June. The deceased was for many years with the firm of A. J. White, and retired only twelve months ago. He was an enthusiastic bowler and was secretary of the Christchurch Bowling Crab.
