OUTBREAK OF FIRE

BRUSSELS, 26th MayA fire at the Ghent Exhibition raged for two hours, and an area of one hundred and fifty square yards was destroyed, including the Hinder Section of the English Courts. The fire brigade extinguished the outbreak. It was assisted in the task by troops. The English section was only slightly affected. The Fine Arts Department narrow escaped destruction. Visitors, remembering the disaster on the occasion of the fire at the Brussels International Exhibition in 1910, showed great excitement, but there was no panic. ESTIMATE OF DAMAGE.
