. GORE, 15th March. 1 Much interest is being' taken in the Ivew Zealand-Australasian draughts championship, to be held at Gore during Easter, and large entries are | expected. The sum of £30 odd has been collected, but considerably more is re* quired to make the tournament a success. It is proposed to give cash prizes, the winner receiving a gold medal, as an additional prize, if funds permit.
