CUSTOMS REVENUE
The Customs revenue collected at Wellington yesterday totalled £2586 16s 6d, making the total for the month £81,918 16s od, as compared with £72,741 10s 3d collected during the corresponding period last year. There is, therefore, an increase of £9177 6s.
It was stated at the quarterly meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, held last night, that the cost of the dinner given in Wellington to the English team, prior to their departure for Sydney, was £42 2s.
