Mr. Henri Bourasfca, Leader of the Nationalist Party in the Canadian Parliament, has stated in an interview here that the feeling presently between Canada and Great Britain would be certain to result in absolute separation. So long as Canada waa not represented in the Empire's affairs, ehe should be under no obligations to that Empire. Independence was the moral outcome of the development of any colony, just as it was in the ca^se of the American colonies. Mr. Bouraasa's statements have been hotly criticised in Canada.
