V.M.C.A. surprised St. John's at Miramar on Saturday and managed to run up a total of 4 goals against St. Johfl's 1 and only. It was during this spell that Hospital secured the goal, the leather being driven home by Roots from a long shot. T(he tables were turned in the second half, when Thistle took their turn, with the assistance of the wind, to attack. They were unable to score, however, ' and the game ended with Hospital in the lead by one goal. Mr. Newbold was referee. ' FIFTH A DIVISION.
