Referring to the petition to the Legislative Assembly asking for an investigation of the society's affairs, the' chairman of directors of the Colonial Mutual Assurance Society says :— "We have a full and complete reply to all the charges. We invite, ahd are anxious to have, the fullest investigation} meantime we are asking the public to suspend its judgment."
