IMPORTANT NEW INDUSTRY

A new industry and one of importance to the whole Dominion has just been established in Napier, the Acetone Welding Company having installed, a plant for the manufacture of liquid "air and nitrous oxide. The company has been working on a small scale for some time in the manufacture of dissolved acetylene, which has revolutionised the welding industry and already the monthly output amounts to 1^ tons of gas for all parts of the Dominion. At present all the nitrons oxide used in the Dominion is imported.
