Booth claimed £260 from the Triad newspaper, set down for hearing at the Supreme Court to-day, was settled out of Court. The Triad < severely criticised the Hanging Committee of the Art Society in connection with the recent exhibition, and asserted that a section of this committee, which was elected this year, was biassed. The defendant newspaper retracts the imputation of bias, and admits that its article was based on erroneous informaj'tion. It pays £105 in satisfaction of [plaintiff's costs.
