Graziers in the Broughton and Kaniva districts, near the South Australian border, have suffered, heavy losses of sheep in the past four years. It was supposed they had strayed. Macmillan Brothers' last muster was 5000 short. The police mado enquiries, and discovered in some thick bush a yard and woolshed bearing traces of shearing operations having been carried on for years past. There were tracks indicating that a big muster had been driven away recently.
