MAGISTRATE'S COURT

At to-day's sitting of the Magistrate's Court, presided over by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., tho following cases of drunkenness were dealt with: Edith Home, fined 20s, and made the,6ubjeot of prohibition order; Thos. Wilson, fined 10s; and John Harris, fined 20s. Harris, while* in an intoxicated condition, fell mto the -harbour shortly after 7 o'clock last evening. He was rescued by the second officer of tho Maori, who dived from the vessel's deck, and held him up until assistance arrived. Four firet offenders were- dealt with in the usual manner.
