LODGE MEETING
The Melrose Lodge, No. 66, U.A.0.D.,' held its fortnightly meeting in the Lodge, room, Kilbirnie, last evening, A.D. Bro. S. L. Hall presiding. The usual routine business was gone through, and a vote of condolence passed with tho widow and family of the late Bro. G. Z. Quurrie (Pacific Lodge). A vote of thanks was also accorded the auditors ('Bros. Dillon and Clemas) for the able manner in which they had carried out their duties ■at the recent audit. It is the intention N of the lodge to visit Island Bay Lodge on Thursday w«ek. The debate,' "Has the cost of living increased ?" which was to have taken place, -was adjourned till next lodge night. t
