RAILWAY SERVICE
"Worker from Upper Hutt," writing to The Post, contends that the new time-table for the railway service between Wellington and Upper Hutt may suit certain people who pressed for it, but it is no comfort to the workers who U6O the line regularly. "With the ex- . ception of ono train, that leaves Te Aro at 6.5 p.m.," tho complainant etatcs, "we do not want the new timetable, as it works all against our interests. We havo to leave Upper Hutt at twenty-five past 6 in the morning, and when we get home again we do not want to go to town again except, j perhaps, on Saturday. Another thing is that tho railway people took onr twenty-five past 9 train at night and gave "us two late trains instead, one leaving at twenty-five minutes to 11 every night and one going at half-past 11 three nights. These wo do not want, nor does anybody else, as those who do not have to get up early in the morning use their motor cars. I know the time-tablo would not have been altered if Mr. Wilford had been here, ac he knows that such a time-table would not suit us. If tho Hallway Department wants to do something extra, it might run the twentyfive past 9 as a passenger train, and wo will be Vary much obliged./'
