It is stated locally that the refusal of Mr. Justice Sim to accede to the demand of the Auckland drivers for an early hearing of their dispute is likely to have serious consequences. The Minister of Labour is understood to have taken some action in the matter without avaiL Any trouble that may occur will have its beginnings in Auckland, but may spread. At present I the drivers are not associated with the Federation of Labour.
