FUNERAL OF WIKI KEMP

WANGANUI, 11th June. It was thought that the funeral of the late Wild Kemp would take place next Sunday, but it was decided late this afternoon that the last rites should be performed to-morrow. This decision is the result of the death of a chieftainess 'in Hawkes Bay. All the relatives of that lady are in Wanganui, and they desire to leave as soon as possible for the Hawkes Baytangi. Wiki Kemp will be buried beside her father in the Putiki cemetery, and the ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church will be performed.
