A deputation from the Associated Chambers of Commerce to day waited on Mr. Fisher, Federal Premier, to present resolutions in favour of a nonpolitical tariff boiird, the decimal system and other reforms. Speakers expiessed pleasure at Mr. Fisher's attitude towards Freetrade relations with New Zealand, which might cause a loss in some departments but in others would result in a gaiu. Mr. Fifher replied that he hoped both countries would gain.
