RAILWAY CADET CHARGED WITH THEFT
' DUNEDIN, 12th April. A railway cadet named Hilgendorf, employed at Omakau, has been arrested oil a charge of stealing £40 from a registered letter, and Michael Begley, another railway employee, has been arrested on a charge of receiving £20. Both' accused were employed on Postal Avork. Accused were brought before the Court, and remanded for a woek. Of the sum alleged to have been stolen, £20 has been recovered.
