THE AVERAGES. The following are the averages (batting and bowling) ot the members of the Central Club's team, which has won the senior championship for the 1911-12 season: — Batting.

THIRD CLASS. Catholic Club, 159 (Carruthere 49, Galvin 33, Layburn 14, Thomas 14, Coleman 10, Little 10) v. Wellington College, 99 for eight (Leahy 27 not out, Laurenson 22). For Catholic Club, Little took four wickete for 24 runs, Carruthers three for 00, and O'Connor one for 3, while for College, Laurenson arid Boeely were the best Bowlers. OTHER GAMES. Harbour Board, 144 (Wright 29, Hamilton 33 retired, Dempster 20 retired) beat Post and Telegraph, 89 (C. Greig 22, Webb 15, T. Greig 13). Edwards, five for 40, and Dempster four for 22 bowled best for the winners, and Greig (2) for Post and Telegraph. New Zealand Times, 111 (Gerard 28, Baily 28, Burns 17, Kemple 16) defeated Pahautanui, 92 (J. Death 33, S. Boulton 16). REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS'. " The selectors for the Wellington Association have picked two teams for Easter matches, one to play against Manawatu at Palmerston, and the other to play a match here with the Wednesday representatives.* Following is the team to go to Palmerston :—Crombie, Tucker, M'Girr, Hornby, Saunders^ Luckie, Walters, Johnson, Nash, Findlay, Collett, and Dempsey. The team to play the Wednesday men is as follows:—Robinson, Laws, Grimmett, S. Hickson, Patterson, Birch, Finlayson, C. G. Wilson, Patrick, Mahoney, and Jackson.
