WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. . The sixth annual meeting of the Wed nesday Hockey Association was held last evening, Mr. J. C. Cueack presiding. Officers were appointed as follow':— • Pafcron, Dr. Izard (re-elected^ • president, Mr. J. P. Luke j chairman, Mr. J. C. CusaGk (re-elected) ; vice-presidente, Messrs. B. Q. H. Burn, F. M. B. Fisher, M.P., J. M'Ewen, M. O'Kane, H. M'Keown; hon. (secretary, . Mr. A. W. Manning (re-elected) ; hon. treasurer, Mr L. Jackson (re-elected) ; selection committee, Messrs. Cußack, Manning, and Gracie ; hon. auditor, Mr. W. Keid ; delegate Wellington Hockey Association, Mr. J. C. Cusack; ground committee, Messrs.) H. B. Pointon, M. Spiers, A. W. Manning. WESLEY CLUB. 0 The seventh annual general meeting of the Wesley Hockey Club was held in the Young Men's Classroom, Taranakt-street, last evening. There wat> v fair attendance of members. Mi\ W. H. Bennett presided. ( The report stated that commencing the season was a larger proportion of young players than usual, the various teams found it difficult to win matcnes against more experienced players, but, nevertheless,' they finished up with satisfactory records. The senior team was congratu-lated-on winning the 6even-a-side tournament from eighteen teams. With deep regret, the death of Mr. Oscar Jacobeen, of the senior eleven, was recorded. Tho report mentioned that new members were desired. The balance-sheet revealed a credit balance of £7 9s. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow: — President, the Rev. J. G. Chapman (re-elected) ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. W. H. and A. J. Bennett, R. W. Waterhouse, L. J. Garrard, G. Tiller, W. A. W. Grenfell, J. Kellow, L. Dentou, T. E. Corkill, E. Bolton, H. T. H. Grave,, and the Rev. E. 0. Blamires (all re-elected) ; club captain, Mr. A. E. Birch (re-elected)"} vice-cap-tain, Mr. W. Keys; hon. secretary, Mr. J. Cody; treasurer, Mr. V. Bennett (reelected) ; auditor. Mr. E. Kellow (reelected) ; delegates to Wellington Hockey Association, Messrs. W. Keys (reelected) and J. Cody. Several new members were elected. It was decided to onter teams for the senior and third competitions, and it j was left- to the executive' committee to decido whether or not a junior team should be entered,. A vote of thanks was passed to all who hud donated to the club's funds or otfoerwibe contributed to its success.
