THE EOBEBIC. j On Wednesday night the tramp steamer Boseric arrived at Auckland from New York. The vessel is particularly well equipped for a vessel of her cla*&, and islie Is one of -the few of the tramp steamers trading to these waters fitted with wireless. Her capacity it equal to 10,400 tons dead weight, and on her run from the States all available cargo space was occupied. She is due here about Monday next. j AOBANGI, FEOM SAN FEANCISCO. At 2.15 a.m. to-day the 8.M.8. Aorangi, from San Francisco via Earotonga and Papeete, arrived in the harbour. Pratique having been granted, the vessel berthed at the | Jervois-qnay Breastwork shortly after 8 o'clock, J The Aorangi, under charge of Captain Ste- \ vene, left San Francisco on 6th March at 1 p.m., and reached Papeete on 18th March. She left the next day for Earotonga, at which porfc siie arrived 6n Thursday, 2>l6t March. Leaving again on the next day the vessel made a run of nine days to Wellington. Light northeast trades helped her along until the Line was reached, and after crossing south-east winds, flue clear weather, and smooth seas were experienced to Barotonga. After leaving there the winds continued light, and clear weather was the order of the voyage umtilJ arrival this morning. 1 The Aorangi brought the following imports: For Wellington— 343s boxes dried fruit, 650 cases canned Iruitt., 41 boxes soap, 45 packages roofing material, 125 barrels oil, 36 cases periodicals, 1 case parrots, and quantity general; also quantity bananas and oranges from Earotonga. For other New Zealand ports— Blßti boxes dried fruits, 75 cases canned flfib, 238 barrels oil, 39 packages machinery, 10 barrels ink, 10 barrels starch, a cases periodical*, and quantity sundries, quantity . bananat and oranges from Earotonga. • The Aorangi, Moeraki, Victoria, Manuka, Bemuera, Wimmera, and Ulimaroa will probably be within wireless range of Wellington this evening.
