SEQUEL TO A BITTER QUARREL AN EX-MAYOR DYING. HIS ADVERSARY DEAD. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received March 29, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, 28th March. At Oakland, California, following an old quarrel, in which Mr. Snow, an exMayor of Oakland, fought an assailant named Goklman, the latter, after his release from the penitentiary, ambushed Snow in. the assembly rooms of tho First Congregational Church. A revolver duel followed. Snow was taken to the hospital in a dying condition, and Goldman is dead. Goldman had been sentenced to five years in the penitentiary after his first attack on Snow, who, while Mayor, incurred bis enmity.
