MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
VERDICT OF MANSLAUGHTER. [tt XE&CaHAPM-~PfiESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At an inquest to-day on Mrs. Calthome M'Gill, who died in the Hospital tinder somewhat mysterious circumstances, the Hospital Superintendent stated that deceased was admitted on Tuesday. The hospital authorities could not certify the cause of death j consequently a pc*t*mortem examination, had been held ( which revealed evidence of un illegal operation. The jury returned a verdict of manslaughter against some person unknown.
