CAPITOL CLUb. ' The annual meeting 1 of' the Capitol Club last night was presided ■ over by Mr. Montgomery, and there was a largo attendance of members. It wae reported that the club starts tho season with ul balance in hand of £5 16s Id. Mr. Hankin was elected captain, Mr. Forbes vice-captain, and Mr. Montgomery hon. secretary and treasurer. Ten new members were elected. It was decided to play an A and B team this season, and to start practice at Miramar on Saturday. KELBURNE CLUB. ' The annual meeting of the Kelburno Ciub was held last night, Mr. E. C. Levvy presiding. The annual report stated that the 1911 Beason had been a very successful one from both the playing and the financial aspects. The club had again won the championship. Twelve matches Had beeix played, of which niue had been won, one lost, and two drawn. Much of the success was due to the consistent practice of the younger' members under - Vice-captain Proud. The club would find t it very hard to replace Mr. S. Meyer, who had gone to New South Wales. There was a. credit balaiice of £8 7s 2d.' As the City Council had decided to charge 6d per player per game for the use of grounds, the annual (subscription to the club would be increased to 10s. Officers were elected as follow :—President,, Mr. E. C. Levvey ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. W. J. Proud (New South Wales), Orton Stevens. A. L. Herdman, Martin Kennedy, "F. G. Bolton, Arthur Young, J. G. W. Aitken, W. R. Bragge (New ..South Wales), R. R. Hutton (Victoria), T. M. Wilford, — Wilson, Dr. Izard; committee, Messrs. S. Hutton, A. N. Jordan, S. O. Jones, E. P. Seeley, B. Bragge; secretary, Mr. J. W. Cantz; treasurer, Mr. A. N. Jordan; delegates to the Wellington Association, Messrs. E. P. Proud ' and S. * Hutton ; selection committee, Messrs. B. Bragge, A. N. Jordan,- and' S. Hutton. The captain and vice-captain will be chosen later. Dr. Izard was formally thanked for 'giving^ a trophy, and Mr. Levvey for tv donation.
