SUBURBAN WATER SUPPLY.
v * Reticulation for the water supply of Wadestpwn and Melrose will be completed in^ a few weeks from now. The ; new Wainui water main is now laid some distance beyond Ngahauranga towards Petone. The concreting of the walls of the Bell-road reservoir, into which the new main will debouch, is well advanced. Pipes for the continuation of the main from Thorndon to the reservoir through the city have bean placed in suitable depots ready for laying.
