The Tagus and other rivers are flooding the lower parts of Lisbon, Oporto, and elsewhere. Thousands of cattle have been drowned and the railways "stopped. Gunboate are patrolling the coast to assist wrecks. • 1 December 22, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 21st December. There have been continuous rains in Erfgland.
