Allan Macdougall, the youth of 18 years, who was sentenced to two numths' imprisonment for assaulting the Right Hon. D. Lloyd George (Chancellor of the Exchequer), when the latter was leaving a suffragettes' meeting, him eaten nothing since his conviction as a protest against being condemned to do hard labour.
