NOTE.— See restrictions to Express and Ikiail trains shown below. / < From 21st December to 3rd January inclusive, {except Sundays), Relief Mail trains, making same stops as the Ordinary Mail trains, will run between Wellington (Tborndon) and Wanganui, and Palmerston North and Napier, fece poster and handbills for times-). NOTE.— On these days, the ordinary 'Wellington-New Plymouth Up and'Dowu 21ail trains will not take passengers for or from stations Wanganui, Aramobo, and South thereof, except that passenger^ for Palmerston North may travel by The Ordinary Up Wellington-New Plymouth Mail train. The ordinary Up Wellington-New Plymouth Mail train will take up passengers »t stopping stations between Palrnerston North and Aramoho only for stopping stations between Aramoho and New Plymout«. The Ordinary Up Wellington-New Plymouth Mail train will not take passengers for 6tations on the Main Trunk line. The Ordinary Down New PlymouthWellington Mail'' train will take passengers for or from stations on the Mam Trunk line only for or from stations at which that train stops. In addition to above, on the days the Relief Mail trains run, the Ordinary Down New Plymouth- Wellington Mail train will not stop between Palinerstoh North and Paekakariki except at Otaki for passengers. Passengers for stations at which the Ordinary Down New Plymouth Mail train will not stop must change trains at Palrner&ton North. From 15th December to 6th January, inclusive, Extra Express trains will run between Wellington and Auckland. (See poster and handbill for times and stops). NOTE. — The Extra Express will not run from Wellington on Sundays. The Extra Express train will not leave Auckland for Wellington on Saturdays. The Up Extra Express train will connect at l?rankton with train leaving that station for Rotorua at 6.0 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only. The Down Express train will connect at Frankton with train leaving Rotorua for at 9.0 p.m. on Mondays! Wednesdays, and Fridays only. The last day on which the Extra. Express train- will leave Auckland will bi> Friday, sth January, and Wellington Saturday, 6th January. < On the days the Up Extra Express tram runs the Ordinary Up Wellington-Auck-land Express train will be limited, and ill take passengers from Wellington only lor Taihape and stopping stations beyond. Taihape. The Ordinary Up Wellihgton'cuckland Express train will not take up passengers at any stopping station between Palnierston North and Mercer, both inclusive. Passengers* from these station* must travel by the Wellington-Auckland UP Extra Express train.' On the days the Down Extra Express train runs, the Ordinary Down AucklandWellington Express train will take passengers from Auckland only for Taihape and stopping stations beyond Taihape. The ordinary Down Auckland-Wellington Express train will not take up passengers at any stopping station between. Mercer and Palinefston North, both inclusive, except for Stations between Waipukurau and Napier. Other passengers from these stations must travel by the Auck-land-Wellington Down Extra Express train. NOTE.— From 21st December to 3rd January , inclusive the Napier-Thorndon Up and /Down Mail trains will not take passengers for or from stopping stations between Pakipaki ' and Woodville, inclusive, except for or front stopping stations south of Woodville. > > . WELLINGTON . FOXTON-PALHERS-TON 'NORTH. ON 23rd DECEMBER The usual 12.35 p.m. Wellington-John-Bonville train will leave Wellington 12.15 p.m., Ngaio 12.29, Johnsonvillo arr 12.43 p.m. The 11.15 p.m. Wellington-Pttekakariki train will not run. In, addition to the ordinary timetable trains the following trains will run: — FOR PORlßUA— Wellington dep 3.45 p.m. FOR PAEKAKARIKI — Wellington dep 6.25 p.m. and 10.50 p.m. FOR PALMERSTON NORTH, WANGANUI AND NAPlEß— Wellington dep 11.20 p.m., Paekakariki 12.45 a.m. on 24th, Otfaki 1.40, Levin 2.15, Palmerston North arr 3.45 a.m., Wanganui arr 7.60 a.m., connecting at Aramoho with Wanganui River Excursion. This train will not stop between Wellington and Paekakariki, but North of there stops where required, except Makerua and Linton. NOTE— Passengers for stations Terrace End (Palmeraton North- Woodville line)Napier and intermediate stations , change trainß at Palmerston North.
