SPORTS PROTECTION LEAGUE.
GISBORNE, 21st December. A well attended meeting last evening decided to form a Gisborne centre of the Sports Protection League. ill*. J. W. Nolan (Crown Prosecutor)' presided, and, after tho aims of the league had been outlined by the general secretary (Mr. A. Paape)/ Mr. J. W. Nolan wae elected president of the local centre. A strong committee was appointed.
