TECHNICAL SCHOOL ANNUAL PICNIC.
The annual picnic of the day students of th© Technical School was held yesterday at Day's Ba-y, the fine weather inducing a large number of pupils, their friends, and relations to ta-ke advantage of the natural beauties of the bay and to spend a day in th© open. A sports meeting was conducted under the supervision of th© instructors, and & thoroughly «njoyablo,day was spent by all. Cooper 2; Girls' Votsbo Race — N. Lang 1, E. Macdonald 2, Boys' Potato Race — Denehy 1, Headland 2; 50yds Swim (boys)— N. Isaac 1, Madie and Dsnehy (tie) 2; 50yds Swim (girls)— E. Macdonald 1, D. Powell 2; Instructors' "Race (ladies) — Miss Gyles 1, Miss Welsby 2. T^he prize-winners in these ©vents will be able to iget their prizes from the registrar's office at th© school on Monday next.
