An interesting and even match took place between Karori and Post and Telegraph, the former achieving the victory by 3 goals to 1. Hui Mai suffered defeat at the hands of. Petone A by 3 goals to 1, REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURES. The Nelson Representatives, who meet the shield-holders on Saturday, arrive to-night. Messrs, C. S. Falconer and G. Carver will referee. En routs to Wellington, th? Nelson team played Marlborough yesterday and was defeated by 2 goals to 1. The following junior players will meet Wairarapa on Saturday i— -Goalkeeper, Terripleton (United) ; full-back«, tight* Bowler (Victoria College), left Gayford (Metropolitan) } halves, right Palmer (United), centre Williams (Government Insurance), left Haigh (Wellington); forwards, right wing Rutherford (Victoria College), ilMithi Tew&ley (Wellington), centre Bennett (United), inside M'Clintock (Government Insurance), left-wing Wileoh (United). This is not the original team chosen, as some could, not get away. It is however, fairly strong.
