Trembath, , the holder, and C. E. Holway took pla<:e I to-day. Holway defeated Trembath by five yards, covering the distance in SO 4-s^c. Trembath was quicker at the stft-rt. Holway waited upon him for half the distance, and then shot in front and won comfortably. The ladies' 100 yds sprint championship 1 of Australia wa* won by Miss Moore, who defeated the Wider, Mrs. Brennan, by five yards in 13 3-s?ec.
