IRISHMEN TAKE A HAND.
| POLICE STONED. | NEWSBOYS AND~HOOLIGANS RUN | RIOT. SEVERAL MINOR STRIKES. (Received August 23, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, 22nd August. Some rioting haa occurred in Dublin, business premises being attacked. The police were etonetl, and three shot* were fired, wounding a. const-able in the hand. Striking newsboys, assisted by hooli* gane, smashed some newspaper vans and fired the contents. Hooligans utilised th« dispute as a pretext to destooy other property and a«sa.il a police constable, who was seriously injured. Three thousand biscuitmakefft have ■track for higher wages, and several minor, strikes are reported. .
