The Rev. Mr, and Mrs. Fee, of Wellingtoa, returned from Sydney to-day by the Moeraki. Mr. Chris. The ballot resulted: Goodall, 123; Brook, 21. Messrs. •A. J. Solomon and Ernest Glass, of the Barnet Glass Rubber Company, are at present in Wellington. It .is the intention of the company to ex* tend its business to New Zealand, and Mr. Solomon will remain in the Do» muiion to manage affairs. . Passengers by the Moeraki from Sydney to-day included Dr. Borghetti, of ! Wellington, Mr.- L. G, Howard (of the ! Howard-Smith Shipping Company of Australia), Mr, R. M'Lellan (manager of the Island, San Francisco, and Vancouver branches of the Union Shipping Company), and Mr. Baker (American Consul at Hobart).
