A WHOLESALE CLEARANCE.
THE EXHIBITION. Extraordinary celerity has> been displayed in clearing the Exhibition buildings. Most of the larges-t of the stalls have quite disappeared and the? balance are _ "packing up." Almost all the exhibits in the Home Industries section have been taken away — a committee of ladies superintending this work. Tile Levin Home and St. John District Nurses's Emergency Fund will benefit to the extent cf about £9, which is due to Messrs. Read and Fenwick's mirror maze in U building. Here 1 a collection was at first taken up by Mrs. J. P. Luke. Afterwards the boxes in the maze collected the money themselves. The art gallery is now depleted and most of ite treasures have been restored to their owners, The annex is unroofed and taken altogether the J shed should be quite bare in a few< days time. The U shed will be used for a store for a few days in order to there dispose of the building material left over.
