LADIES' GAMES.
SENIOR. After a strenuque game with Petone, Ramblers had again to admit defeat, Tlie match was a most determined one, and the suburban team played a really good game right through. The forward line was particularly effective. Miss Lepper put two goals through for Petone, and Miss Scrimshaw one. The goale for Ramblers were got by Misses Tonill and Reid. Mr. Searrell wa# .referee. Hinemoa juefc managed to snatch a. victory from Wellington, after a hard tussle, on No. 4. The single goal was obtained in the first spell, and it was Miss Stairmand who was successful. Mr. Thomson acted as referee, v College Old Owl* and Victoria College played on No. 6, which, wae in a very bad state. The game was not very exciting, and eventually resulted in s. win for tlie Old Girls by 5 goals to 2. Misses Shearer, Woodman, and Charlesworth »coted for the winners. Mi*. Cfrrver held the whistle. What wa-s the deciding match in the junior championship was played between Girls' College and Ramblers. The position of the two teams was that the former were one step higher up the championship ladder. As the match resulted in' a draw (no score) the position remains unaltered, and the College girls take tlie cup. As the result indicates the game was a most determined one. A TRIAL GAME. The following two junior teams have been chosen to play in a trial match at bay's Bay next Saturday :— *A-~Goal« keeper, Miss Grace Flaws (Herewhini) ; Tight full-back, Miss Speyer (Herewhini), left.
