The Commission which has been set up to investigate the working conditions of .the gold and coal mines of N«w Zealand will hold its first sitting on Thursday in. Parliament Buildings. It will take evidence at all the roinihg centres, but it is not expected that its report will be available for presentation to Parliament during the present session, but will be probably made the basis for any mining legislation tc be brought in next session.
