In all the Vessel will take from Wellington 78 saloon and 117 steerage passengers, besides a number of passengers from other ports. A handsome shield is on view in Messrs. Chas. Begg and Co.'s window in Willis-street. The shield is to be presented by this musiu firm to the church choir which gains the highest aggregate number of marks in the New Zealand Competitions Society's contests, which takes place in October next. The shield is valued at 35 guineas.
